Educational Strategy

We follow a Traditional subject-based curriculum, enhanced with a blend of hybrid elements to improve integration between basic and clinical sciences. Our educational strategy incorporates outcome-based learning, small-group learning, case-based discussion, early clinical exposure, and structured clinical training, ensuring students develop foundational medical knowledge and practical clinical competencies.

Instructional Methods

Key instructional methods include large-group lectures, co-teaching, interactive integrated seminars, interdisciplinary projects, laboratory sessions, clinical rotations, skill lab training, and supervised hands-on clinical exposure. These approaches are designed to ensure effective coordination and integration of basic and clinical sciences both horizontally and vertically, while fostering progressive learning through structured educational activities that reinforce spiral integration.

Assessment Methods

Assessment is conducted through written exams, OSCEs, formative assessments, mastery of practical and procedural skills, and E-portfolios. These tools foster continuous feedback, student-faculty interaction, and professional development.

Curriculum Management

The curriculum is managed centrally by the Curriculum Committee, which consists of a multidisciplinary team. It is continuously monitored, evaluated, and refined through feedback from students, faculty, and other stakeholders to align with national and international standards.

Medical Research

Medical research is integrated into the curriculum, fostering student-led projects and encouraging innovation in healthcare. Graduates are encouraged to engage with both local and global health perspectives, contributing to community well-being and the advancement of medical science.

Student Support

Our college provides various student support activities, including academic counseling, psychological guidance, mental health and well-being services, peer teaching, and encouragement of extracurricular initiatives. These efforts ensure that students have access to the necessary resources to excel academically, develop essential skills, and navigate challenges effectively.

Faculty Development

In parallel with student development, the College is dedicated to advancing the teaching excellence and academic competencies of its faculty members through ongoing capacity-building initiatives and professional development programs, recognizing that the faculty serve as the primary role models in shaping future generations of physicians.

Technology and Simulation-Based Learning

Technology-enhanced and simulation-based learning play a vital role in our educational approach. We utilize an interactive web-based learning platform, skill labs equipped with advanced mannequins that simulate multiple clinical scenarios, and various digital platforms to support student learning, such as Moodle as a Learning Management System, along with an E-Portfolio for tracking progress and competency development.
