A First Step Toward Promising Research Achievements, Graduation Research Committee at the College of Medicine Holds Its First Meeting

The Graduation Research Committee for medical students at University of Al-Ameed held its first meeting for the new 2026–2027 academic year, chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha, and in the presence of the Head of the Committee, Prof. Dr. Saad Ibrahim Al-Ghaban, alongside all committee members.

The meeting addressed several topics related to student graduation research, particularly the mechanisms for selecting and registering research titles, as well as establishing the necessary scientific and organizational frameworks to monitor research preparation and execution stages in alignment with approved academic standards.

Participants also discussed supervision, follow-up, and evaluation mechanisms to ensure the attainment of scientific goals for graduation research, elevate the research output of college students, and enhance their scientific research skills. This meeting falls within the College of Medicine's trajectory toward supporting scientific research, developing students' research capabilities, and enhancing academic output quality in line with modern medical education requirements.
