Under the auspices of the University President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Uday Abdul-Ridha Hussein Al-Rikabi, the College of Pharmacy held the Second Annual Scientific Conference to discuss the graduation research of fifth-stage students for the academic year (2025-2026), in the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Uday Abdul-Ridha Hussein Al-Rikabi, and the two associate deans, alongside an elite group of the college's faculty members.
The conference activities commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in mercy for the souls of Iraq's martyrs, and then the playing of the Iraqi national anthem and the anthem of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine (The Anthem of the Fathers).
The Dean of the College of Pharmacy delivered a speech on this occasion, welcoming the attendees and congratulating the students on their graduation. He praised the distinguished scientific level of the participating research, which he described as reflecting the diligent efforts made by the students under the supervision of their professors. He considered it a qualitative addition to the scientific output in the field of pharmacy, given the propositions it contains that contribute to addressing contemporary health challenges. He emphasized the keenness of the university presidency and the college deanship to support the scientific research journey, praising the students' dedication and efforts, and wishing them a prosperous scientific and professional future.
The conference witnessed the launch of the discussion sessions for the graduation research of the fifth-stage students, under the supervision of specialized scientific committees comprising the college's professors. The committees commended the quality of the research and its scientific level.
