On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, University of Al-Ameed welcomed the Head of the Education and Higher Education Authority at the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine and member of its Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Abbas Rasheed Al-Dada Al-Musaawi. He was received by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jash'ami, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Lamia Abdul-Karim Issa, and the Director of International Relations and Cooperation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatima Abdul-Karim.
The visit included discussing the plan for the new 2026–2027 academic year, following up on student affairs, and reviewing the necessary preparations for launching the academic term, in addition to exploring ways to support scientific progress and enhance the quality of university performance.
The meeting also addressed prospects for strengthening academic cooperation with various educational institutions and discussed mechanisms for developing academic programs to elevate the educational process and achieve further academic excellence at University of Al-Ameed.
