The Department of Internal Dormitories Affairs, in cooperation with the College of Nursing and the Continuing Education Center at University of Al-Ameed, organized a training workshop titled "First Aid" as part of its training plan for the new academic year.
The workshop was delivered by Asst. Lect. Ali Alaa Mahmoud, Clinical Asst. Zaid Ali, Clinical Asst. Zahraa Najah, and Clinical Asst. Yassin Kifah from the College of Nursing. They addressed the basic principles of first aid and proper methods for handling medical emergencies, along with first-aid procedures that help minimize complications from injuries and urgent situations, in the presence of staff from the Department of Internal Dormitories Affairs.
This workshop falls under the department's training program in preparation for the new academic year, aiming to enhance staff skills and boost their readiness to respond to emergencies, thereby helping to ensure a safe and supportive environment for students residing in the dormitories.
