The Deanship of the College of Basic Education for Girls announced the launch of the first cultural competition for the academic year (2025-2026), titled "Read and Reflect," which involves reading the book "The Woman's Mission in Life" by His Eminence Sayyid Muhammad Baqir Al-Sistani (may his success continue). This comes within the framework of supporting cultural activities and developing intellectual awareness among the students.

According to the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sabih Al-Kaabi, the competition aims to enhance cognitive and ethical values, and develop the skills of conscious reading and analytical thinking. This is in addition to consolidating educational concepts derived from solid religious sources, which contributes to building the student's personality scientifically and culturally.

He explained that participation in the competition requires prior registration via an electronic form, in addition to reading the prescribed book and preparing to answer the questions that will be set by the specialized committee, emphasizing that adherence to the conditions is the basis for accepting participation.

Al-Kaabi indicated that the competition will launch on 21/4/2026, while the test will be held on 22/4/2026, and the results will be announced on 26/4/2026. He pointed out the allocation of valuable prizes for the top ten winners in appreciation of their efforts and to stimulate the spirit of scientific competition. He called on all students to actively participate in this cultural initiative due to its role in developing intellectual capabilities and enhancing cognitive awareness.
