The College of Basic Education for Girls at our university, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a specialized scientific lecture titled "APA 7th Edition Citation." It was presented by Prof. Dr. Haider Kadhim Al-Bermani from the University of Karbala and held at the Girls' Medical Complex Hall.
The lecture included a detailed explanation of the citation mechanism according to the seventh edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) style. It highlighted the most important updates adopted in writing scientific research and university theses, as well as clarifying the correct methods for citing sources and references within the text and in the reference list.
The event witnessed a distinguished attendance by the college's teaching staff and female students, who interacted with the lecture's topics by asking questions and inquiries related to citation mechanisms, and its importance in enhancing scientific rigor and avoiding research errors.
This lecture comes within a series of scientific activities that the college is keen to organize. It aims to develop the scientific research skills of students and researchers, and to raise the level of academic awareness of internationally approved writing and citation styles.
