Within the framework of its developmental vision to elevate university housing standards, the Department of Dormitory Affairs at our university convened its first meeting for the new academic year, chaired by the Head of the Department, Assistant Lecturer Rami Mohammed-Jawad Al-Asadi. The meeting was attended by the department secretary, heads of relevant divisions, and the supervisory staff, both in person and virtually.
The meeting addressed the specific arrangements for accommodating students in the new building in accordance with modern organizational mechanisms aimed at providing a healthy residential environment that fosters academic excellence, alongside strengthening service sustainability and fulfilling student needs.
The Head of the Department emphasized the importance of adopting a proactive leadership methodology and working as a unified team to keep pace with the requirements of the upcoming phase, bolstering operational efficiency and continuous development. The meeting witnessed agreement on the key features of the annual operational plan for the department and supervisors, as well as the formation of diverse specialized committees that include student members to instill values of responsibility, cooperation, and active engagement.
