In continuation of its early preparations to serve the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) during the million-man Arbaeen pilgrimage, the university continues its logistical operations to prepare the service sites belonging to the Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) Processions Group, in readiness to receive the visitors arriving at the Holy City of Karbala.
The technical staff in the university's Diwan Affairs Department are executing the tasks of erecting pavilions, preparing pilgrim accommodation sites, and equipping the central kitchen, alongside providing essential necessities to guarantee the delivery of the best services to the incoming pilgrims throughout the days of the pilgrimage.
These efforts fall within the framework of the approach adopted by the university to consolidate a culture of community service and active participation in reviving Hussaini rituals by mobilizing its human and logistical capabilities to serve the pilgrims of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussain, and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), thereby reflecting its humanitarian and national mission.
