The College of Nursing, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at our university, held a scientific workshop entitled "How to Deal with Bacteria Inside the Scientific Laboratory," attended by a number of the college's faculty and staff members.
The workshop was presented by faculty member Asst. Lect. Asmaa Faisal Rodhan, who addressed the scientific foundations and approved procedures for the safe handling of bacteria inside laboratories. She highlighted the core biosafety standards and contamination prevention methods, alongside correct laboratory practices that contribute to maintaining a safe work environment and elevating laboratory performance efficiency.
This workshop is part of the scientific and training programs that the college, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, is keen to organize. It aims to develop the skills of the teaching and administrative staff while fostering a culture of laboratory safety in alignment with approved academic and professional standards.
